While together in the mobile studio, we talked with CONNECT about their growth and change – both in terms of brand and music – and the path they’re on now (including being finalists at the Harmony Sweeps!). They sang us some of their current music as well. Recorded in 2017.

While in NYC, we had the pleasure of inviting the women of Martini Glass into the mobile studio to talk about life as a post-collegiate group, their founding and early growth, and all the things on their to-do list for the foreseeable future. It’s a lot! We also got a chance to hear them sing and have some laughs… Recorded in 2017.

While in New York for the ICCA Finals, we invited the Amazin’ Blue from the University of Michigan into the studio to talk about their competition journey, their focus on continuous improvement, and their vibe today. They also sang us some of their award-winning music. Recorded in 2017.

While in San Rafael, California for the National Harmony Sweepstakes Finals, we were delighted to sit down with the guys of Fireside Quartet. They talked with us about their immersion in the Barbershop Harmony Society and the competition scene there, as well as their experiences competing in the Harmony Sweepstakes. We also heard some of their award-winning sound. Recorded in 2017.

Backtrack has grown into an impressive pro group in a fairly short time, winning competitions and developing a national presence. They have toured the country and worked the cruise ship circuit, creating a career in a cappella. We talked with them about all that, and heard some of their current music. Recorded in 2017.

When In Achord from Boston University joined us in the mobile studio, we were delighted! We heard them sing some of their current music, and talked with them about putting on joint concerts and events, the role of competition for the group, and where they see the group evolving from here. The University of Maryland Faux Paz joined us in the mobile studio to talk about their origins, their impressive history, and what’s ahead for their future. We talked about how they continue to evolve the sound of the group, through music selection and arranging. We also heard their sound, as they sang some tunes! Recorded in 2017.

While at the Bend A Cappella Festival in Oregon, we talked with the South Albany High School Rebelation! They are based in Oregon as well, and are one of a handful of HS groups in the state getting acclaim regionally. We talk with them about their growth, and hear them sing some songs. Recorded in 2017.

We were so pleased to welcome the Tufts University Beelzebubs into our mobile studio. In addition to sounding amazing on some live tunes, they were also thoughtful and well-spoken about the benefits and drawbacks of having an impressive history, and how that informs the way they move forward. We welcome the University of Cincinnati Vocaholics into the mobile studio to talk about all that they had accomplished in the first few years of existence. We talk highs and lows, and how their sound has already changed in that short time. Plus, they sing some tunes for us as well. Recorded in 2017.
